Scope - Art & Design 28
Special Issue (Hospitality and Tourism)
The journal Scope (Art & Design) engages discussion on contemporary research in the visual arts and design in Aotearoa New Zealand and beyond. Scope is concerned with views and critical debates surrounding issues of practice, theory, history and their relationships as manifested through the visual and related arts and activities, such as sound, performance, curation, tactile and immersive environments, digital scapes and methodological considerations. Edited from the Dunedin School of Art, Scope (Art & Design) is part of the Scope: Contemporary Research Topics series co-published by Otago Polytechnic Press and General Editions Studio.
Haere Mai, welcome, to this, our fifth Fashion Special Issue of Scope (Art & Design) which explores the many storied approaches to fashion design from cultural nuances to circular sustainability in fashion systems and building empowered communities. A returning feature of this year’s issue is designer pages where designers give insights into their process.
